Elon Musk has previously attributed his daughter’s estrangement to what he describes as the “woke mind virus.” In a 2024 interview with psychologist Jordan Peterson, Musk suggested that Wilson’s beliefs were shaped by political influences and shared personal details about her identity. He claimed she was “born gay and slightly autistic,” implying that these factors contributed to her gender identity.
Wilson, however, dismissed his remarks, saying, “I don’t have the energy to care about what he says anymore. That interview was a turning point for me—it felt like a final release from everything in my past.” She emphasized that she has had no contact with Musk since 2020.
